HI! I’M MARIA ROCK, AMERICA’S ROYAL GARDENER.

We are cutting weed eating and mowing grasses at Rock Ranch.

As my father would say what’s with the we? A little mouse in my pocket? 

Actually, Chris is doing weed eating. 

I do the ride-on mower it’s snake season.

Our wild grasses are a famous California buckskin hue.

Fire danger is here. 

Mow all grasses close to your home creating a green belt of landscape about 30 feet 

Check all watering systems keeping things green.  

Look around your home and garden to check for fire safety.

Make TO-DO Lists.

As queen of list making I do lists - No numbers please as they make me crazy! 

Sometimes I have 60 things on a list counting them at 1AM.

Numbered lists can make you fret over what’s first!

Cross completed jobs off with colored felt tips. 

It feels good to see colorful lists near completion.

Can’t misplace a list when it sits magnetized to the refrigerator.

Make copies to prevent, I took it off the refrigerator and can’t find it. 

Just hand them another one!
